All ages (6+) Intro to Poi

We are expanding & have a class for everyone! 
All ages (6+) Intro to poi will be from 4 - 5 pm
Ages 6 - 16 (hoop) will be from 5 - 6 pm
And 16+ (hoop) will be from 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Flow Arts is a fitness and meditation practice that blends play, exercise and dance into a fun, beneficial activity that; moves the body, stills the mind and uplifts the spirit. It's a physical workout and a brain booster! While also being a relaxing way to chill out (when in the flow), and a compelling performance art.

Flow FUNdamentals is a challenging but easy going class that is sure to inspire a strong, solid foundation to flow from. Flow can be described as a mental state of complete focus, that merges action and awareness, while losing the self-consciousness. 

It's a confidence builder and great for pre-teens, teens and parents alike. Especially if you're seeking a physical and mental workout, that's also fun!

For the month of May, we will explore even deeper into the FUNdamentals of flow. Everything from waist to chest to leg and hand hooping. And play with isolations, rolls, folds and wedgies. 

During the poi class we will start with the basics, practicing spinning same time and split time and reverse direction on various planes. And explore simple flowers and stalls.

You are sure to leave each class with a few new moves to integrate into your flow.

Fee: $5/per child ~ $10/16+ 
$20/max per family per class
