Intro to Flow Arts

This class will have a greater focus on, body hooping or "on body" moves. We will practice moving inside the hoop while keeping the hoop flowing and focus on waist and chest hooping this week. . No experience needed. Even if you can't hoop, that's ok. I guarantee you'll be hooping before the end of class.
Flow Arts is a fitness and meditation practice that blends play, exercise and dance into a fun, beneficial activity that; moves the body, stills the mind and uplifts the spirit. It's a physical workout and a brain booster! While also being a relaxing way to chill out (when in the flow), and a compelling performance art.


Flow can be described as a mental state of complete focus, that merges action and awareness, while losing the self-consciousness. It's a confidence builder and great for pre-teens, teens and parents alike. Especially if you're seeking a physical and mental workout, that's also fun!

For the month of May, We'll play with the basics and work on keeping the hoop up and flowing. This class is geared towards beginners, including those who can not hoop. Yet. And open to all ages 6+.

Cost: $10 pp - $5 for 16 & under
